Penny was from heaven...I found her as a kitten in a tree aged about 4 months. She had an eye infection and cat flu and was very ill. Months of vet visits had her on the mend. I called her Penny because she had a small copper spot on the top of her copper tabby head. She was friendly but didn't really like to cuddle unless it was sneaking under the duvet while I slept. She ruled the roost over sister cat, Tsu (aged 9 months); brother cat Tinch (aged 3 years) and underdog, Millie the lurcher, aged 9 too. I found out this morning she had been hit by a car two days ago. A kind neighbour found her and took her to the vet but she was already gone. She was a lovely little thing, a great member of the household (even though she would wee on the furniture occassionally)...and we will miss her terribly. Good bye, Penny...
